Insurance and Bonding
Laveen Commercial Cleaning Services has carried commercial insurance continuously for 22 years. Every client receives a certificate of insurance with their written quote. The certificate names your business as an additionally insured party if required.
General liability insurance
We carry general liability insurance appropriate for commercial cleaning operations in Arizona. This covers property damage and bodily injury arising from our work at your facility. If a crew member breaks a window, damages furniture or causes a slip-and-fall incident while cleaning, that falls under our coverage, not yours.
Workers’ compensation
We carry workers’ compensation coverage for all crew members. This is the coverage that matters most to facility managers: if a crew member is injured while cleaning your building, the claim is made against our workers’ compensation policy, not against your general liability coverage and not against you personally. Arizona law requires workers’ comp for employers with one or more employees. We have maintained this coverage since we began operations.
Bonding
We are bonded. Commercial cleaning bonding covers theft by employees on client premises. It is separate from general liability and provides an additional layer of protection for your facility and its contents.
What This Means for Your Facility
An uninsured or underinsured cleaning contractor is a liability exposure for the building owner or the property manager, not just for the contractor. If a crew member from an uninsured company is injured on your property, you may be named in the resulting claim. If property damage occurs and the contractor carries no liability coverage, recovering costs requires litigation.
These are not hypothetical concerns. They are the documented reason that risk-conscious property managers and facilities directors ask for a certificate of insurance before signing any cleaning contract.
Certificate of insurance: included with every written quote at no charge. We can also provide the certificate on request at any point during the engagement. If your building management company or REIT requires additional insured status, we can accommodate that in most cases.
22 years in business
A contractor that has operated continuously for 22 years has maintained insurance continuously for 22 years. There is no coverage gap, no lapse period and no period of uninsured operation in our history. That is verifiable through the certificate of insurance, which shows the policy inception date.
